My grandmother died a couple years ago, and I found a short poem among her possessions. Over the years, with many moves and spring cleanings I lost the small crumpled piece of paper and now I'm looking for the poem that was written on that paper.(posted 9010 days ago)This is all I remember about the poem...it was a tale of two sisters, one with light hair and one with dark... like the wings of a raven. One of the sisters marries a merchant man and strolls around town in a brocade gown...the other sister marries a gypsy man and rides around town in a caravan, and in her hair she wore roses.
OK - that's it. Can anyone help me find this poem. You have know idea how much it means to me. I need to find out who wrote it. Thank you so much!
