format of writing to solicitors

Hi

Thanks for all the advise on shortfalls.

If I do not do an income and expenditure for the solicitors, and I do not make an offer for payment, as advised, how will I ever be able to clear the shortfall demands?

Do they normally come to me with offers of settlement, or do the CAB offer sums to them, without reflecting my income expenditure?

Any advice would be appreciated, as I am not sleeping too well at the moment!
