I totally agree. Unfortunately the solicitors I used (two different firms) seemed to have had less of an understanding of the Law than I did. Estoppel is not as cut and dried as it seems, but it is certainly an avenue (in my opinion)for the cases where no contact was made and the big green hairy lender pops up out of the woodwork after X number of years.(posted 8545 days ago)HUGE BIG DISCLAIMER: I am not a lawyer, please seek your own legal advice before trying this.
