Jo,(posted 8454 days ago)I'm thinking that you need to do a spot of research and find out if the Scottish limitations of 5 & 20 years are an exact match with the English & Welsh system's 6 and 12 years. If so, then look at the Repossession section on this site with this in mind. I would have thought a CAB in Scotland would be able to advise on this, and you could do this over the phone. Details will be on NACAB's web site.
If you could then post this info back on this site, you would be helping other people too. There must be quite a lot of cases like this.
