I had a joint mortgage with an ex-partner through Nationwide, but after a few months of the mortgage starting, the relationship ended, and I moved out.(posted 8042 days ago)This was 3 years ago now, and I have only just recently been in a position, where I could deal with this issue.
I wrote to Nationwide, because I had absolutely no idea of the state of the Mortgage, and couldn't even remember the house number, much to their amusement.
I have had a reply stating that the house had been repossessed 8 days before my letter was received to them (Coincidence). They have had it valued, but it is not yet on the market.
Is there any way that I can salvage this mortgage, so that I get the property in just my name???
Any info anyone could provide would be most appreciated
