Halifax-did they withold info?

In relation to my post below about the Halifax witholding my repossessed house from sale with a view to renting it out ,it has occurred to me that the solicitors had a lot more info about the whole thing than i did.The only ref i found to it was on a 'report on marketing' which contained a small paragraph merely saying that the property had just been released after the enquiry's into renting it had been exhausted but when i questioned the solicitors about it they gave me a huge explaination about why it was witheld ,what happened in the negotiations and how long the talks went on.Have the Halifax tried to conceal information or am i not entitled to this type of info?
