I am not sure if this is useful information or not, but I thought I would post it anyway.(posted 7770 days ago)Did anyone watch the documentary on "The Banks that Bankrupted the World" last night.
Worldcom and Enron (Yes, I know they are American companies) were featured as having 'cooked the books', and as a result bringing down the American Stock Market. Citibank had a major hand in orchestrating their deceptions by doing some pretty shady deals, which although they are not going to court for, certainly illustrate that their business procedures are not particularly ethical.
Anyone dealing with shortfall related to Citibank or one of it's subsidiary's may find it worthwhile to dig a bit deeper.
As I say, I am not sure if it is useful or not, but any comments would be appreciated.
