Firstly both Elizabeth and I would like to say a big thank you to all who have visited our postings on this website, over a considerable period of time, given staunch support and good advice ~ THANK YOU SO MUCH.(posted 7765 days ago)You will be pleased to see, from the letter received from Mortgage Express today and printed below, that they have decided to accept our offer ‘in full and final settlement’ of their alleged shortfall. Below this we have printed our reply. This was great news for Elizabeth, when I visited her in hospital today, and I am sure will provide a wonderful boost towards a recovery. She is far from ‘out of the woods’ yet, however I am hopeful that this will be one of those steps towards giving her the will to continue living and not give up just yet.
