Well done Andy,(posted 7442 days ago)I haven't visited the site much since last November when the Halifax accepted my offer of £500 against an alleged £30K debt which had been going on for 8 years.
Your message was the first one I saw and what fabulous news. It just goes to show what can be done by digging your heels in and sticking to your guns, asking for proof and not backing down when they say you are wrong to ask.
Don't forget to keep all the letters just in case this does come back to bite you on the bum in a couple of years time. In theory it shouldn't, but we all know how these financial organisations like to twist the law in their favour.
