Response to Delta 3200 / DD-X

from Wolfram Kollig (kollig@ipfdd.de)
Let me have a look at yesterdays prints...seems I have to agree with John: sharp and grainy. I did prints 7*9.5 to 10*12 on grade 1 and grade 4 paper. Grainsize on SFX 200 (exposed at 400), developed 14 min at 200C in DD-X is similar. So for sharpness I will use D3200 at 3200-6400 in DD-X, for grain Neopan 1600 in Xtol (1:1) or Agfa Atomal FF (1:3). Simple reason, Neopan 1600 from a 100 ft. roll costs me 5 DM, D3200 costs me 10 DM. And I do not think at 1600 D3200 is worth 100% more.
