I shoot some pictures last thursday at a ballett training, without flash I used Neopan 1600 (@1600) and TMZ (@3200). The Neopans developed in Xtol turned out nicely for printing on grade 2-3 - as always. I used TMZ before and had good results in Tetenal Ultrafin Plus and DD-X rated at 3200 and 6400, they were slightly on the thin side (for my taste) and printed on 3-4.(posted 8930 days ago)But these TMZ in Xtol developed according Kodak times turned out really grainy, while I like the grain of TMZ/DD-X at 10*12'', this looked no good at all.
I did this before (TMZ/Xtol)and found the negatives inferior to the Minilabs TMZ/Ultrafin Plus. (I know we are supposed to learn from our mistakes). Anyone having similar or opposite results with TMZ/Xtol?
