A poster in the PhotoForum mailing list told me he's had great success with it - better sharpness than PMK (and PMK is very good), more consistent staining, and a more useful stain for variable contrast papers, since it's a tone that is seen by VC papers as plain density and not as an attempt at VC filtration.
