Response to color film in BW developer?

Just for something to do I exposed and developed some old ISO 100
color print film as b&w film. I guess I expected to get some garish
colors. What I ended up with was a fuzzy, low contrast b&w
negative. Some of the characteristics were no doubt due to the age
of the film. I haven't found a practical artistic application yet.
Hmmm, Lomo-film?
