Response to longer developing times with higher dilutions

Generally you'll get slightly better acutance, slightly more graininess, and perhaps put a bit of a shoulder into the curve shape.

These differences can be rather subtle (D-76 1:1 vs 1:3) to more obvious (Rodinal 1:25 vs 1:100).

If you want to try it, if you double the dilution give about 1.4X the development time. You may find an EI decrease, maybe not.
