Pushing Tri-X in D-76

Some time ago, on someone's advice, I was developing Tri-X, rated at 800, using D-76 straight at 20C. I forget what time I was using. Does anybody know what a good time would be or where I can find such information? Second, can anybody recommend an Ilford developer to do what I'm looking for? I'm unused to working with Ilford but in Europe I'm finding Kodak materials difficult to find.
