water too hard?

Hello everybody, I hope my question is not too basic. After I developed my film, I noticed that the film when it's completely dry is very stiff, so stiff that it becomes a little courved, I use HP5 / Xtol 1:1, maybe my water is hard? you think it can be a problem for the negatives?
