Problems with ILFORD Delta 400

from David Carper (david.carper@ilford.com)
Several people have mentioned having problems with the new version of ILFORD Delta 400, specifically in regards to a band of plus density down the center of the film. This is a problem which ILFORD would like to solve. To do this, we need samples of the problem.

If you are having problems with this film, please send any samples to:

ILFORD Imaging W. 70 Century Rd. Paramus, NJ 07652 Attn: David Carper

Please e-mail me at david.carper@ilford.com first, to determine if we still need samples.

Please include: the sample showing the problem (entire roll most helpful)

The batch number of the film (if known)

development sequence, included chemicals used, times, and temperatures.

Camera model.

When was the film shot? When was it processed? How long did the film stay in the camera, both before and after shooting?

How was film stored, both before and after exposure? Was it kept in the box and foil wrapper (120) or in the plastic tub (35mm)?

When and where was film purchased?

Also include your name and address, as well as telling us if you need the film returned.

This problem has come to our attention only in the past few days, and we are very anxious to determine the cause and to remedy the situation. Your help is greatly appreciated.
