Glass cleans easily and that's what I prefer for most darkroom usage. Plastic is good, and I don't worry about contamination with graduates. Storage is another matter. I wouldn't store acids or fixer in plastic, then use the container for developer. I do label my developer tray and don't switch it with the stop or fixer.
