Fabio if all else fails treat yourself to their VC head its illuminination is quite even. I used it a lot with 6x9cm negs. for many years with excellent results. I even used the 6x9 mixing box with 35mm with no ill effects. Highly recommended. Good luck,(posted 8350 days ago)
