Kale, why would any driver need to call a rand() function for? The CPUs, video hardware and so on don't contain random elements. Any randomness the game uses is produced by its own code. Also, a 'person of minimal mental power' is more likely to use MAME32, and wouldn't have the faintest idea how to use the DOS prompt.(posted 8532 days ago)Most games (there are a few exceptions - Klax and Pipe Dream come to mind) produce recordings that are perfectly compatible between MAME and DMAME.
