Hi Liam,(posted 8248 days ago)if the film isn't as clear as you like and it has a colour cast you probably didn't fix it long enough. If you still have the leader you cut off, put it in the fixer you used and see how long time it takes for the "milky" part to totally disappear. Your fixing time should have been twice that long. After fixing the colour cast may still remain but if you wash the film briefly and then submerge it in HCA for a couple of minutes the colour cast will go away more easily.
