Response to From p-Aminophenol to p-Aminophenol Hydrochloride

from Garry D. Lewis (glewis@ftw.nrcs.usda.gov)
from "What you want to Know About Developers by Dr. Edmund Lowe on Pg. 99.

Water.........................1 liter Para-aminophenol(base)......3.5 grams Sodium Sulfite.............. 90 grams Sodium Sulphate .............40 grams

no time are given, but the developer can be used up to 90 degress F.. 70 degress is recommended and you have to increase the time by 5% for each roll.

If you convert the Aminophenol to the sulfate, you then have GRADOL. Which is used in Edwal's Super 20 formula.
