David,(posted 8160 days ago)It sounds like it is time for some controled experiments. I would guess that you are using TMX, although you don't say so. I also assume that you are talking about sheets. Try developing a few sheets without the Paterson. Just use a tray with continuous agitation. You can also try the Paterson with a different developer.
One other thing: The TMax films do not stain well in PMK. You may want to try another combination anyway.
