Hi. If you want fine grain, Rodinal is defenetly not the best developer for the job. Many people (including me) are still using this 100+ yers old formulation because it produces crisp grainy negatives with a great tonal range. You can try Neopan 100-SS in ID-11 1:1 rated at 100 ASA for 10 min as a starting point. Generally 100-ss is fine grained emulsion, so printing at 10-12x magnification withoud noticable grain shuldn't be a problem. Good luck. Evgeni.(posted 9292 days ago)
