Response to Film Curling

If the wetting agent is causin the film to curl, i would suggest to not use it.. sponging the film down first will keep you from getting any water spots or runs on the film. when i dev 220 i usually use only 2 clothes pins on the bottom. i make sure the film is free from loose water, and that the temperature and humidity does not change while the film is drying.. also if you are hot drying the film, this may be adding to your problem.
