You might be able to remove the dust from the negative. First, find it, with a powerful loupe. Then try to shift it with a soft brush. If that doesn't work, a lens cloth might work, or it might be dried into the emulsion, in which case you would have to re-wash the film (which carries a risk of adding more dust).(posted 9182 days ago)You might find that printing with a diffuse enlarger helps.
