Response to LOOKING FOR SIX-16 FILM

from bill zelinski (willy@yahoo.com)
Hi Lacy, I believe your camera uses a 620 size film, which is hard to find, but is similar to a 120 size film , which you can find at any professional camera shop. The trick is that to make this 120 film fit into your camera you must reduce the diameter of the top and bottom of the film spool. It helps if you have a 620 spool to measure from but take a pair of nailclippers and "bite" small pieces off the edge until the 120 spool is about the same size as the 620 spool. It should now fit ok. You will need another take up spool (hopefully an old 620 one) and make sure you insist on getting your 620 spool back from your photo lab as they can be hard to find. The little red on window on the camera will show frame numbers advanceing as you wind and shoot the camera. For best results keep the sun behind you, have fun.
