Response to 50 year old black and white negatives

from shawn gibson (s_g@stu.wdw.utoronto.ca)
I would start with good old silver paper and standard developer, stop and fix. Do a contact print the typical way to see what you've got; and then start thinking about some more-exciting alternative processes, like platinum, palladium, etc...Use Ilford MG Universal or Kodak Dektol for dev. And use Ilford RC MGIV since it's cheap. Times will beon the materials themselves. Temp should be 68degrees. Hope this helps. shawn
