Actually, I think Ikari Warriors is overrated. Once again, it's a case of having a character that moves way too slow. If you're not in the tank and you trigger one of those devices that fires the missile at that location, you're pretty much dead. There's one point in the game where there are soldiers throwing red grenades at you, if you die and lose yours, you pretty much don't have a chance in hell of ever getting close enough to throw your own again. Personally, I could do without that. On the other hand, I LOVE Time Soldiers, and think that's one of the best human shooters ever made. 'Course, I still love Shock Troopers better.(posted 9021 days ago)Anyway, regarding games using the 8-way rotary joystick. I play them by using a pad to move and the mouse to spin/fire. For most of these analog games (Time Soldiers, Heavy Barrel, Midnight Resistance, Gondomania, etc) I change the sensitivity rating (found in the Analog Settings menu) to 8%. It takes a little practice to get used to using the mouse to spin precisely, but I've adapted much better than I ever thought I would. :)
