Something I need to make clear about spamming

I just deleted a board post advertising of several items up for sale. This will be defined as spamming.

Let me make something crystal clear.

There's a lot of things we like to talk about on this board. I like and accept everything that I hear.

The point is that I will NOT allow free advertising FOR PROFIT here on a board that comes off a website that gets on an average over 200 UNIQUE hits / day. (I don't see anything wrong about advertising about personal webpages or the like)

Any other post that does that? Let me know ASAP and I'll get rid of that too. Thanks for reading this rather disgruntled post.

P.S. Anybody want to set a standard for this type of thing? Let me know
