A belated thank you to everyone who has written both publicly and privately. I appreciate the supportive send-off!(posted 8701 days ago)In the short time I've been at Pop (2 weeks) I have two observations: 1) that I've come in the midst of several key staff changes, which will I think help the magazine in the long run, and 2) the commute is as grinding as I remember from my days at Modern Photography, and my free time is even more limited than I expected--but they're making it worth the effort.
You probably won't see my byline there for a while--first I need to get a handle on the basic job of being a managing editor. There are lots of parts to it.
On another topic...I am happy to report that I'm very close to getting someone to take over the B&W World Top Ten List and expect to announce that person within the week. I'm glad to see the B&W World forums haven't missed a beat--great job, Ed!
