Contrast reduction in Tech Pan

I hope to benefit from the experience of the many dedicated Tech Pan users out there. I usually process Tech Pan at 68 degrees for 9 minutes. I would like to reduce contrast about 20%. Is my best course of action to dilute the Tech Pan, reduce temperature or reduce time in the developer. I want to retain its incredible blacks and maintain the range.
