There's a big, big difference between leeching in Rygar and leeching in Rastan Saga.(posted 8759 days ago)In Rygar, the player is at risk when the Big Scary Face of Crap comes out. If you don't jump/duck it successfully, you die. One hit is death in that game, remember. Not to mention that dying can make things hard once you lose all the Powers, especially on higher levels. After a dozen or so times of evading the face, it gets incredibly fast and thus becomes nearly impossible to dodge. "Leeching" does require some skill in that game.
I'm not a Rastan Saga expert, but it's to my understanding that if you hang around long enough, only two bats come out to attack you, which is considerably less where more "punishment bats" attacks on the other romsets. There is not much risk involved there, just keep swinging away and killing enemies. That's why leeching in that game is very lame.
You have recordings up for Rygar, you should know that leeching in Rygar and Rastan Saga is very different.
