Response to Ilford Universal Fixer 1+4 f/rapid fix: to hypo clear or O.K. not to?

I use it all the time and I don't have this problem. I always do a
final soak in distilled water with 2 drops of Edwal LFN (low foam
wetting agent) per liter--the negs dry clean, with no streaks or
spots.
