Each maker says the same thing: properly processed silver negatives will outlast C41 by a large margin.(posted 8444 days ago)If having the negatives for a long, long time is important then use silver based B&W film. If you don't mind the image fading off the backing through the next 10 or more years then it doesn't matter.
