DDX vs Xtol for Delta 400

Friends,

I'm sure this has been asked - but I can't find the detail I'm after in the archives... So after the excuse here's the question: I have been using Xtol 1+1 for Delta 400 (rated at 500asa). With the loss of the 1l pack I'm wondering about alternatives. Has anyone compared DDX with Xtol for Delta 400? If so, what speed do you use? What developer dilution, time, temp. How was tonal range and grain? My greatest photo reward is making an 11x14 print I'm proud to display on the wall of my home office/hobby room, so sharp grain-free enlargements are an important measure for me. I'd also value similar information on other developers.
