Apparently unnecessary delays like this are very common - they love to play cat and mouse! You can easily get the ball rolling by sending them a follow-up letter by Special Delivery (only £3.60). Just say you note they have not replied to your previous letter (enclose a copy), and please could they now give the matter their urgent attention.(posted 8104 days ago)Look at it this way: if it ever comes to court it will look extremely bad for them if they are not treating this with an appropriate level of seriousness. By writing a letter now, you are creating written evidence of their incompetence which you can produce in court. Well worth £3.60!
