I did one direct comparison with Ilfosol-S and I decidedly preferred Gainer's formula. It was sharper, resolved finer detail and had an overall crisper look. Moreover, the grain was not courser--the usual trade-off for actutance--and it showed a sharper, tighter pattern.(posted 8128 days ago)
