Response to Glycin print developers for slot processors

from Conrad Hoffman (choffman@rpa.net)
Well, I used the 130 a few times, a few weeks apart, and it was just as slow as the day I mixed it. Guess I'm spoiled by Dektol and developer incorporated papers :-) Glycin is supposed to protect other developers from oxidation, and I really like the tonal quality of FX- 2. It's also supposed to last longer in solution than dry. I've mixed a couple phenidone developers and didn't find any real advantages. I think Gainer did a HC-110 based paper developer that might be worth trying too.
