Response to Glycin print developers for slot processors

from Wayne (wsteffen@skypoint.com)
It sounds like it is worthwhile pursuing the idea of making phenidone-glycin print developers..

---

Well, maybe. Formulary's BW-65 is a glycin-phenidone-HQ developer, and its working solution life is abysmally short-I've used it on consecutive nights but quality is noticeably less and then it craps out real quick. Its essentially good for a few hours (with high capacity though), and thats that. I've mixed a phenidone version of Ansco 130, which produces somewhat similar results, results that I especially like on Forte PolyWarmtone+. Now is when a memory (mine) would come in real handy. I dont recall how long mine lasted, but I know it was a lot longer than BW-65. I just dont recall if it was days longer or weeks longer. the stock keeps forever, but once working solution life is another animal. If my memory comes back I'll let you know
