I am in the process of testing tri-x and several developers and am wondering if anyone has a favorite combination that yields great grain and good shadow detail. I am shooting at 320, and it's the standard tri-x in 35mm format. Everything from differing temperatures and agitation will be tried. I'd be happy to share results when they're in...thanks,

Hi Mike; My favourite developer is HC-110. I go to dilution "B", cut that in half, and double the reccomended time (forget exactly, but it works out somewhere around 14-15 minutes). Stick with shooting it at 320 as well, it works good for me. joe
