Who is Publius Ovidius Naso (the poet)?
-- Philip Bailey (firstname.lastname@example.org), January 09, 1998
He was a proud man and yet a humble man; a good man who sometimes did wrong; a selfish man, yet capable of great generosity; a short man who grew in stature with the passing of years; a man's man and yet a tender man. In short, Publius Ovidius Naso was a man of many contradictions, much like you or me. Approach him in this spirit and you will be rewarded richly. Demand more of him than any man is likely to deliver and you will be disappointed without cause.
And, lastly, to thine own self be true and it shall follow as the night the day you cannot be false to any other man.
