We would like know more about the history of the Graphic Arts Workshop, or GAW, which was founded by faculty from the California Labor College in 1952. Any information about the history of the Workshop and the people involved would be appreciated. --Graphics Arts Workshop

As part of our 50th anniversary show this past year (2002) John Skovgaard presented a history of the California Labor School, the historical parent to the GAW. Here's some of that history with a link to more: http://gaw.zpub.com/laborschool.php
