Really the only thing I've found that qualifies in this particular category is the Dogpile engine, which basically is a monster of a search tool that searches for your desired subject, title, keywords, et cetera, on many major search engines all at once. Very good if you are looking for something you can't seem to find, not good if you are looking for something common, like "presidential scandal."
