James Camerons Titanic. Is it REALLY worth buying?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TitanicShack : One Thread

Hi! I'm thinking about ordering James Camerons Titanic, but its like, 45-50 bucks and I'd like to make sure its worth the dough. Have any of you bought the book or at least seen it? Should I hold onto my money or is it a great book on the movie that I should definately buy. Your help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

I bought the paperback version for $15, and that was definitely worth it.

I ordered the hardcover version from amazon books. It was 35 bucks. The paperback was 16. If you're a careful person and takes good care of books, I recommend paperback. But if you're careless like me, then the hardcover would be a better deal.

I ,too, bought mine from Amazon books. I bought the paperback version. And it is sooooooo worth it!!!!! I not only bought one for me but also one for my friend. And he also enjoyed it very much!!!!! It costs $16.00 that's 20% off the reg. price of $20.00.

peace...........

I got my copy for $16 from Barnes and Noble online and it is more than worth the money. The pictures are wonderful, and I definitely wasn't expecting it to be as big as it was. It is absolutely worth every penny.......

Can anybody tell me how to order it? Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure of the current status of the book as I know that it was "sold out" in many stores, but there are two ways to handle this: check with your favorite local bookstore (Barnes & Noble, Borders, Waldenbooks, B. Dalton's, and similar stores) and place an order if they don't have any copies available for purchase (they certainly can tell you what the status is); or check the amazon.com website to place an online order (I believe that you can check online and then call to place an order if you don't want to use credit cards online). It's definitely a book worth having. Good luck.
