I am currently researching a piece on the Pope and his skiing life. This came about after seeing a photo in Time Magazine of the Pope skiing. Does anyone know where I can gain information regarding this subject? I appreciate any help.

Unfortunately for our Pope, his health has not been very good lately. A few years ago he fell and broke his thigh bone...had a operation. That injury and his illness that renders him very unsteady have put a solid end to his sking days....and his hiking days as well as other physically taxing activity.

As to his past sking ...I would imagine anywhere you find a good bio on Pope John Paul II you might find a mention of his love of skiing.
