From the 2/25/98 Daily Variety (www.variety.com):

"A new crop of syndie specials are in bloom this month, led by Tribune Entertainments underwater expose Titanic: Secrets Revealed.

Riding the coattails of the Titanic box office steamroller, Tribune has found ready takers for its two-hour spec, which promises to tell the true story behind the luxury liners tragic maiden voyage.

The barter spec, produced by John Josyln for Adventures & Exploration Inc., has been picked up by the Sinclair Broadcast Group as well as the Tribune Broadcasting outlets. To date, its been cleared in 48 markets for broadcast in primetime between March 30 and April 19."

Tribune Broadcasting is the parent company of superstation WGN in Chicago, so cable coverage should be pretty high throughout North America. Check their webpage (www.tribune.com/tribsites/index.htm) for a listing of all Tribune Broadcasting outlets. Sinclair Broadcasting doesn't have a web page that I can find.

As they say in the trade, "Watch Your Local Listings" and get ready to fire up the VCR again.

Cheers!
