Here are some things I thought you might want to think about bringing that normally aren't on our minds...

* certificates for the students (James made some really nice ones last year) * admissions information/brochures from the admissions office; also pictures of MIT and your room & stuff (our kids were really curious about what our lives were like...) * U.S. News and World Report Graduate Student Rankings (MIT #1!) to impress everyone * presents for various important officials. always useful to bring extra ones. things that say MIT are good.
