I am a student at Yale University and am interested in the field of sports psychology. Being a competitive, nationally ranked gymnast, I truly believe in the benefits of being mentally prepared, as well as physically conditioned, for optimum performance. However, my exposure to sports psychology is limited to personal experience and research. I would love to be able to "shadow" or work with someone familiar with the field. I am willing and able to go wherever necessary to obtain this experience. Any advice relating to the necessary steps to find individuals who would be willing to give me this experience would be greatly appreciated.
