looking for webpages of public art

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Public Art : One Thread

I am creating a webpage for public works of art in the Quad Cities (Iowa/Illinois). The Quad Cities has large sculpture by known artists such as Henry Moore, Sol LeWitt, Beverly Pepper, etc. I'm looking for other pages for ideas on the web-page structure, links, etc. (I have have my own photographs and information). For example, I have found the Cincinnati Public Art page -which I found to be excellent. Do you know of others?

Try www.hillsboroughcounty.org/agencies/public art/home.htm--we are just getting ours up..will be expanding images soon. Have a public art locator may...I think this is pretty unique. Good luck.

If you go to the web site of the U.K. based Public Monuments and Sculpture Association at http://www.unn.ac.uk/~hcv3 you will find a massive page of links to public art sites around the world, all of which branch out even further! Some are good, others a bit boring, so make your own mind up... Good luck! Jeremy Beach, University of Northumbria, Newcastle upon Tyne, U.K.
